The arrival of Madam Chenwi Magdalene at the helm of Bamenda III Women's Forum has been welcomed by many women in the Subdivision. Elected February 17, 2015 to head the almost dead structure, Madam Magdalene is already being celebrated for giving life to the forum.
As part of this year's International Women's Day, the forum started with the cleaning of the premises of some major institutions in the Subdivision like the Nkwen Fon's Palace, The premises of the Bamenda III Council and the DO's office. The women equally created time to visit and clean the home of one of theirs Mami Foncha wife of late Cameroon former prime minister JN Foncha. After a full participation in all activities leading up to the International Women's Day, These women joined the many others who showed up for the feast in Bamenda.
