| Nigerian Women at #IWD event in Bamenda |
Amongst the many international groupings in Bamenda is the
Nigerian Union whose women have never spared their efforts in participating in
Women’s Day #IWD activities in Cameroon’s Northwest Regional Headquarters. The
2015 event was no exception as they showed up in their beautiful white and
green colours. This year’s event saw an added element with women appearing in
male outfits from caps through dresses and
shoes.

With the green white and green Nigerian flag, the women
pledged their love for motherland Nigeria. Sandwiched between the members and
the executive was a group of traditionally dressed women in typical Ibo Royal
attire with royalty reflecting in their footsteps and marching style.
Their passage was greeted with an unequalled ovation.
