Women of the Bamenda office of #Plan Cameroon joined other
women Nationwide on the Bamenda Commercial Avenue in Celebrations marking the
International Women’s Day #IWD. The child protection oriented international
organisation used the event to sensitise many on their activities. While
marching, the women carried messages encouraging the education of the girl
child and discouraging early marriages for young girls. For those who have heard,
read or benefited from the activities of #Plan-Cameroon, it was a fulfilling
moment to have them at the event as they expressed their joy with laud shouts
and hand clapping. Northwest Governor like his collaborators where amongst the
many who gave Plan-Bamenda women an ovation during the march pass.
