The National Chairman of Cameroons most populous opposition political party The Social Democratic Front SDF, John FRU NDI is currently in the United Sates of America at the head of a Ten Man delegation as laureate of a lifetime achievement award from the African focus group. At the Time of this report the SDF Chieftain is in Los Angeles California accompanied by SDF Senators, Parliamentarians, Mayors and a Senior Councilor of the Bamenda City Council.

The Chairman will be Honored alongside  Nigerias Ace Comedian  chief Zebrodaya. Reports say the decor was planted since arrival with an impressive reception organised by some well meaning  Cameroonians amongst them Dr Andrew Ndiforngwa, Dr Tantoh Taniform all from Nkwen and so on. The evening of Friday April 24th was a moment to get a feel of the event as the Chairman and other honorees had the opportunity to live a  special pre-event jamboree.

Chairman Fru Ndi is being crowned  for his efforts to maintain peace in Cameroon with his 25years old party that is believed to have been cheated at the 1992 presidential elections with evidence clear enough for the party to start an uprising.  According to the Non Governmental Organisation The African focus group, this and many others gives the SDF Chairman the right to this Lifetime recognition.
This award comes just a few weeks to celebrations marking the 25th Anniversary of the SDF.
