I, Felix Teche Nyamusa agree completely with Cameroonians gravely pained with the entire philosophy-cum-personae involved in a Fru Ndi award that will amuse more CPDM regime manipulators than bulge forward Cameroon liberty and progress.
My party, SDF, national chairman, His Excellency Ni John Fru Ndi received an award “Lifetime peace award…, Ambassador of Light of life” from a Los Angeles – USA based NGO - Africa Focus 25 April 2015. However it is worth noting that no where in Africa, the emerging and emerged world had good governance and people’s government been achieved by tolerating dictators in the name of peace! Next door Nigeria got in March 2015 a most peaceful succession ever to avoid turmoil – Boko Haram, Delta rebellion, the Biafra wars and sundry unrest. Apartheid in South Africa was defeated not after recourse to programmed long violence in answering the racist bastion protracted intransigence! Bukinabes chased away Biya-type despot - Blaise Compaore using force!
Fellow Cameroonians, it cannot be different with Cameroon!
John Fru Ndi, SDF party and other opposition parties and Cameroonians in general , we have no other choice than being actively and sustainably involved in looking for solutions to our woes by all cost ! Celebrating a peace and stability award in a country that barely superficially remains intact while huge money is squandered in fighting regime orchestrated avoidable ills like attempts at secession of portions of the country because of mismanagement; cheating and reckless governance is awkward .
A country where only a small gang of crooks enjoy at the expense of circa 25million Cameroonians - with bad roads particularly farm to market, manipulated elections, since independence 1960 with CPDM formerly CNU ruling despite the presence of SDF and other meaningful political parties –Africa focus the freedom land( USA)based NGO that rewards passivity, docility in the face of suppression where a little struggle like globally obtained would liberate my people should at most be credited with being out of touch with African and general liberation politics and realities! In the crusade for democracy and progress in Cameroon, those of us leaders particularly of SDF must be vigilant with awards, actions philosophies … we identify with to avoid inhibiting progress and furthering apathy amongst compatriots! Bewilderingly chairman in his acceptance speech re-echoed in Bamenda 29 April, 2015 being mute on strategies of tackling the bad governance of the
rampaging incumbent regime to the press, dedicated the award to youths and the democratic world. We have to always tell inform ordinary Cameroonians that democracy, transparent acceptable elections and good governance are hardly gotten on a gold platter thus the imperative for us to fight and achieve that now before we move towards 2018 elections year! Cameroonians of different political leanings indeed have given a long rope for CPDM to draw while remaining in power since independence. We should not be oblivion to the fact that the incumbent regime has an easy means of fabricating or buying awards to confuse the ordinary as they do when they characteristically rig elections using the common wallet and the country’ resources with impunity . The SDF is Cameroonian’s last hope and like similar political parties world wide, her tribulations and achievements is the people’s concern and must be discussed in the public, the press not in hidings – thus
this discussion of his Excellency Ni John Fru Ndi one of Cameroon’s foremost politician on this medium(the people’s parliament) !
Cameroonians particularly the burgeoning downtrodden and youths, lets spare no effort to bring positive changes to Cameroon like others elsewhere do!
