Brasseries du Cameroun Football Development Program – TOP CUP begins July 6, 2015. Hilltopvoices steps out of Fief.

The annual Top Cup football tournament organized and sponsored by the number one football promoter les Brasseries Du Cameroon SABC, for 2015 shall kick start from July 6th to August 1st nationwide.  The information was made public during a press Conference at the SABC Head Quarters in Bafoussam June 18, 2015.

According to the Regional Chief of Marketing Calvin Ngongang while presenting the project during the Press conference says the main objective of this initiative is to promote young talents in football given that some 5000 participants are expected nationwide and after the tournament 90 of them would be selected and convoked to Douala there after 18 amongst them would be retained and sent to football schools to further formal training in football. On the criteria of selection for participant he says it is carried out by a team made up personalities outside Brasseries du Cameroon and would be done in all objectivity to ensure that only the best are selected.
He further indicated there are ongoing registrations which is free of charge at every distribution center in the seven regions of the company’s geographical operation units nationwide. Participants for this tournament Ngogang added are children at 13 and were born on January 1, 2002 to be précised.

Why the Initiative?
This initiative which is nonprofit making by the number one brewing company SABC is in responds to her corporate/social responsibilities that is giving back to the communities some of the dividends. The play grounds shall be Bangante, Bafang, Dchang and Bamenda with a budget of FCFA 15 million for the West Region.

Conditions of Participations
As for accommodation parents of those selected would take charge given that Brasseries du Cameroun shall only cater for health, food and materials for the tournament with small packages to all participants after the finals. Requirement at registration are birth certificate, medical certificate and authorization by parent for which a license would be established for child to participate.


Top Cup and the SABC football school prides self for producing great football talents like SONG BAHANAG, ETO’O,  NJITAP, WOME NLEND, OLEMBE and thus hopes to get many more of their kind and quality from this session for the development of football in Cameroon.
