Fon HRM Azehfor III was present alongside Atangche Vingalla Chairman of the
Management Board of the Nkwen Water project, Mayor Fongu Cletus of Bamenda III
Council, some notables and agricultural experts to receive the trees from The
Greens family.

In a brief
presentation of the trees and their importance to the water catchments, the

In appreciation,
HRM Azehfor III promised The Greens to take proper care of the donations
particularly at the time Nkwen has become a major water supplier in Bamenda
with the increasing water scarcity in the city. The Fon was corroborated by the
Chairman of the Water Management Board who stated that the over eight water
catchment areas around the Fondom and beyond are in need of more trees.
The Greens "more trees please" |
The Greens
donation falls within one of their projects “More Trees Please” conceived to
plant over 70million trees across the world. The Greens will in the days ahead
be organising a football tournament baptized “Conservation Champions league” to
be staged at the St Paul’s Field mile 3 Nkwen. According to Ngalim Franklin the
champion’s league “is aimed at using football as a vehicle in conserving
endangered and endemic species of the North West Region.”
