Addressing the Sisters, Reve Fr Lucas Sanosi Parish Priest of Nghomgham encouraged them to give their yes and their unconditional yes and love to Jesus with their minds and soul. “As you take this very important step on your journey to the Religious life, the Lord is asking you to strive towards a life of Christian holiness……” He said. While reminding them of the vows of Chastity, obedience and religious poverty as important canons of Religious life, Rev Fr Sanosi noted that their First profession was about temporal vows which will be repeated or renewed every year until they get to the time where they can take them perpetually and that will be the moment of final or solemn Religious profession.
The General Superior of the Sisters Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick joined the event which gave her opportunity to handover the constitution and “Habits” of the congregation to the three Sisters.
