The event
that brought the police chief Martin to Bamenda has been described as an act of
selfless sacrifice, intelligence, bravery and aptness in the protection of
human life and collective security.
Recently
promoted with distinctions by the President of the Republic of Cameroon and
Chief of the Arm Forces Paul Biya for what the police said was the interception
of explosive gadgets by the said police officers here in Bamenda ahead of May
20 festivities to mark the National Day.
Taiwe
Alfred, Eteme Joseph Noah, and Elondou Vincent were the lucky police officers
to receive the blessing of the police chief Martin Mbarga Nguele from the
President of the Republic.
Mbarga
Nguelle equally took off time to visit the declared and unexploited police
training center in Big Babangki to apprise the level of rehabilitation done in
the center.
While in
Banbangki, the Delegate General regretted the poor implementation of the
rehabilitation project in the center. He expressed dissatisfaction with the
contractor and from what we gathered the contracted firm is owned by an elite
of Tubah who is a former minister and currently a sitting chairman of one of Cameroon's
examination structures
Prior to his
departure to Big Babangki, some Fons of the Northwest congratulated Mbarga
Nguele for his recent election at the helm of security chiefs in the Central
African session that held in Yaounde recently. The Fons of Nkwen, Bambui,
Guzang, Nsogwa, Nzah signed the document handed to the police chief.
