New
Breed Africa NBA is an organization created and headed my Atanche Zita a
Journalist by training and a musician. Launching the organization August 29,
2015 in Bamenda, the Chief Executive officer of NBA noted that the new
organization has as one of it missions the socioeconomic empowerment of the
Youths. Borrowing the Chinese adage which says “too much talking cannot cook
rice” Miss Atangche described her organization as a new action organization
with little talking as has been the case. “Building a tenacious breed without
greed” she said will be the slogan the organization.
The
launching event which was animated by the Bamenda based group-inter
denominational Choir the Flames provided a moment for some motivational
speakers to address key issues on self-growth and development. According to the
first speaker Nchini Julius founder of Front liners international and Preacher,
the destiny of everyone begins the day he or she comes in contact and
recognizes what matters. He encouraged all present not to be frightened by life's challenges but to fight on with a strong self-determination to change
their situation. Vugar Peter an insurance Broker and preacher during his
intervention insisted that you can be a better person as soon as you decide to
do so. He pointed three major requirements; need of self, God and information.
Musical
artist like Bila Mag and Njie Augustine who answered present literally turn the
launching event to a musical concert without standing songs largely appreciated
by the guests.
The
paramount Fon of Nkwen HRM Azehfor III during his intervention warned against
all forms of indiscipline by the youth. He further encouraged the youths to
take book work seriously so as to make meaning out of their lives through
registering for public entrance examinations and applying for various
opportunities offered by the Government Public Services.
The
over 200 orphans and less privileged children who gathered in the ceremonial
hall of the Nkwen Fons palace received gifts of books, pens, pencils and rulers
from my team of New Breed Africa. In a post early morning on Monday June 31,
Atangche Zita said “It was an
unforgettable experience in my life and also my happiest day ever, when i saw
over 200 orphans and less privileged gathered at the Nkwen Fons palace to
receive gifts of books, pens, pencils and rulers from my team of New Breed
Africa and I during the lunch on the 29th of August. What a start for New Breed
Africa!!!Thanks to you all who supported us financially, materially and with
your presence at this memorable event. May God bless you all for me-LOTI, Dreamland
Connect, The Flames, Wisdom Chapel Intl, Mount Zion Clinic, HOBEC Bonandale
Dla,Refresh Music. In fact space is limited to mention you all by name. Fon
Azehfor III of Nkwen,The Mayor Bda III who stood with NBA to put smiles on the
faces of these children within Bda III,God will continuously put smiles on your
own faces.”
The
many beneficiaries who received the items were selected by NBA from the various
quarters in Nkwen and had to be attending an authorized School. According to
Atangche Zita she hopes to be able to touch many more lives particularly the
unprivileged in the next few years not just in Nkwen or Bamenda III sub
division but beyond.
Organizations
like Africa Nova Center For Democracy joined the parents, friends and children
who were present.
