YOSA in training |
Players
of Bamenda’s lone professional Elite One side Yong Sport Academy YOSA Monday December
14, 2015 began training in the Mankon-Bamenda municipal stadium under the new
technical leadership. The players made up of old names like Jude Kongnyuy,
Kamfu Gilbert, Akosemoh Theodore, Mawobe Ntuba, Ngogang Stephane, Nkumbo
Fanendou, goal keeper Nyokon Ntonye and other new comers started training under
the watchful eyes of Sama Keneth who has been appointed to assist Ndumbe Bosso.

Though many of the old guards have been maintained, some names and faces like
Mogho Ghislain have not been spotted at training. Sources close to the team say
though many of the players with expired contracts
have been called up and contracts renewed others have been kept aside. Quizzed on
whether they have been given a special target, Coach Sama Keneth accompanied by
goal keeper trainer Kome Thomas denied telling hilltopvoices that there is the
global ambition of the team which is to go international and that they must
keep.
In
a close chat with Yong Jacque President of the team, Ndumbe Bosso will return
to Bamenda as head of the technical department of YOSA. Talking in a relaxed
mode, Yong Jacque said he was working extremely hard to get a team that will
play good football with results next season.
After
winning his second cup of Cameroon tittle with YOSA in 2013, Ndumbe Bosso took
other engagements that took him away from the club. Though his 2014 season was
not very eventful, he stayed on with Panthere Sportive FC of Nde where he
qualified for the 2015 Cup of Cameroon finals though with no success against
UMS of Loum. With a lot of football coaching experience in Cameroon, Ndumbe
Bosso is one of the few qualified coaches in Cameroon licensed by the German
Football Federation with a verity of football coaching qualifications. He returns
to a town and team many say he knows quite well to replace Kamgue Justine who
has taken up a new job with Lion Blesse of Fotuni.
The
Cameroon professional football league in November announced January 9, 2015 as
the provisional date for the takeoff of the 2016 football season.
