champions of the Professional League One in Cameroon Eding Sport of the Lekie
has signed a professional contract with one of Cameroon’s rising football
talents 17years old Junior Sunday Jang.
The contract signed August 20, 2019 comes after Jang had been contacted by several clubs both home and abroad.

Though the
contract duration has not been made public, it is likely he will be in Cameroon
for at least the next football season.
“I am happy
to have reached a deal with a club like Eding FC. I am ready to start the new
season with the club and give them my all.” J. S. Jang told reporters.
The player’s manager sees the move as both
strategic and technical. “I accepted him to sign in Cameroon so as to build his
discipline and mindset. We had calls from elsewhere but I think it was good for
him to start from home after his training in Argentina where he has been an
amazing player. Technically speaking, Junior Sunday Jang will be the next big
thing in the attacking position in Cameroon. The move is strategic.” Chi Ivo

“It is not a mistake we signed Junior Jang.
We are convinced of what he can do. He will be an important part of the group
we are putting together for this season. I feel like we have someone special
who will be part of us this season.” A source at the Eding FC technical team
remarked.
Contacted after the contract, Kensah Thimoty
a freelance sports reporter in Yaounde told this reporter “I think it is good
news for Eding football Club. Such players are and asset both for the club and
the country’s football in general. He is coming in from Argentina with a strong
moral which can boast that of the local players to deliver.”
The son of Cameroon former international Jang
Sunday returns to the country after formalizing his football training with an
Academy in Argentina.
After emerging league One Champions in 2017
and Cup winners in 2018, the signing of Junior Sunday Jang by Eding FC is
already being sign as a strong move to another title this season.
