“Yesterday's
shocker was a great game of football and P carried the day coz of good play and
confidence. My Observations from the game are as follows;
1. I completely agree with everyone who thinks
we need a goal scoring player. Papi creates all the opportunities and can never
do it alone. In fact, he plays alone which doesn't make any sense to me.
2. I can't
seem to differentiate between 6, 8, and
10 of our team. Ngalle and Randy are good but honestly, they don't play like
each other's keeper. The number of YOSA player collisions at Midfield is
evident of this fact and then you realize whenever the Ngia P (meaning PWD)
midfielder held the ball, almost all three of them weren't there. They use too
much energy trying to run round the field only create some loopholes.
We need to
permanently station Ngalle at that midfield and caution him never to cross
except otherwise there is a backup when he is doing so. The man too hungry
ball.
3. Defense
was great but again, there is some degree of lack of communication. Dada ended
up almost covering up the asses of the 6, 5 and 4 making the most defensive
saves and this is so because of point two I raised above. Where 6 be dey? What
was the understanding between defenders?
These
defenders need to understand football is a collective game and communicate with
each other and stop stressing me Dada. Another evidence of lack of
communication from the back is that we made almost no passes from defense and
carried to the front. All thing be be na chucking chucking. Tamboli
needs to learn how to give precise clear offs without too much power.
4. We had no
game plan. Plan A started but when it failed we didn't have any though I still
think we need to create playing identities. We needed to be super offensive
when we conceived the goal, meaning we had to play if possible with more
attackers and midfielders. This winger swaps is good but sometimes instead of
swapping, we need to densify the midfield and attackers and mount dope
pressure.
5. Goal
keeper shake shake but anyhow, e need for learn for play with Yi team and build
more courage. However, no problem for now.
My proposed
solution,
1. Randy
should play like 10 with a 9 spirit and stop trying to play like 10 with an 8
spirit.
2. Ngalle be
stationed at the midfield but cautioned never to leave coz his leaving creates
loopholes.
3. Make 6
play e role and know say na Yi be center of communication with yi left flang
and right flang defenders.
4. Effective
communication among players be emphasize during trainings.
5. In January,
we need a scorer.
