Inhabitants of Nkwen in Bamenda III Sub Division Mezam Division will from Wednesday April 15, 2020 begin receiving material for the prevention of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Those charged with the acquisition and distribution of the items say all is set for the kick-off of distribution.
According to Muma Azehfor one of the acquisition and distribution team members, the material purchased from the North Weet Special Fund for Health Promotion are being hygienically package for distribution. Some of the items have been locally fabricated to meet the expected target. The locally made those incharge say meet WHO standards.
He adds that several volunteers have been recruited and trained for the distribution exercise which will begin gradually with the hope of covering all 54 quarters in Nkwen.
The items to be distributed include hand sanitisers and face masks with effective sensitisation on the usage.
Contributions from concerned Nkwen sons and daughters at home and abroad have been used to purchaed the items.
Nkwen Elites, a common initiative group with the purpose of promoting development in the village has been charged with the execution.
