Coton Sport of Garoua has clinched one of eight tickets for the 2020-2021 CAF Confederation cup. The Garoua team qualified following NASPA Stars' 1-0 defeat of RSB Berkane on Wednesday 21 April 2021 in a group B matchday 5 fixture in Zambia.
Coton Sport had earlier complicated her qualification chances after loosing 1-2 against JS Kabylie at the Roumde Ahjia stadium stadium in Garoua North of Cameroon same day.
The win by NASPA Stars holds RSB Berkane on the third position in the group with five points just a day to the end of the group stages.
With JS Kabylie top of the group with nine points, Coton Sport thus qualifies with nine points on the second sport as NASPA Stars joins RSB Berkane on the exit road.
