For the first time this season, the two flag bearers of the North West Region in the top tier league had the luxury to play at home on the same day.

PWD of Bamenda and Yong Sports Academy (YOSA FC) played their day five fixture in Njenefor against Bamboutos FC and APEJES of Mfou respectively. Though both fixtures produced no goal, the visitors returned from Bamenda comforted by the spectacular performances of their goalkeepers. During the first match, time tested shot stopper Dande Junior denied victory hungry YOSA not fewer than five scoring opportunities. He was simply superb on goal.

With celebrated Haschou Kerrido on goal for home side PWD Bamenda, the man who grabbed the shine was Bamboutos of Mbouda goal post custodian. Patrick Lionel Kipyeb didn't only brilliantly performed his goal post responsibilities with his pair of gloves, but his heralded reading of the game leading to foot saves often off his command zone gave him an opportunity to help the Mangwa boys clinch a point with a clean net in Bamenda.

Another nil-nil tie of the day was at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde. AS Fortuna did everything possible to deny regional sister team Dragon FC all three points of the day. AS Fortuna has already made known her intention to contest the league tittle with zero defeat recorded so far.

Eding FC got their first win of the season. The team could heave a sigh of relief when at the referee's match full time blast the scoreline stood at 1-0. Fovu's general brilliance failed to pay off with a goal.
Tamo Giresse was play maker for Stade Renard of Melong as they travelled to burn off Avion of Nkam at home in Douala to a shocking 1-2 win.

Union Sportive of Douala had their best result of the season humbling Yaounde II FC 2-0 in Douala. Colourful as the fixture was, the absence of a goal by visiting Yde II FC only showed lack of creativity in front of the goal post.

Being on target for Leon Boyomo (last season's top scorer) and Beo Bato new recruits from Eding FC was already overdue at Astre of Douala. On matchday five, the forwards didn't give their employer reason to regret as they both hit a brace to clinch a crucial home win.  Colombe FC managed to pull one back but that was not good enough to grab even a point for the day.

Canon of Yaounde refused to give Panthere du Nde breathing space as they suffocated the Bangante team 2-0. No one could explain if it was a too good Canon or a too weak Panthere Sportive du Nde. It was a bad day for Panthere.

New Stars and Tonnierre Kalara Club TKC elected to settle for a 1-1 tie. The tie lacked everything but for experience. There was plenty of experience to allow both sides manage not to concede a second goal.

While Djiko FC enjoyed a pool A break, the fixture pitting UMS of Loum and Cotonsport of Garoua has been moved to a later date.
