The Public Independent Conciliator for the North West Region has taken the aoth of office. The oath taking ceremony held this Thursday July 8, 2021 in Bamenda during a highly profiled court session of the Mezam appeal court up station.
He is expected by the law to be a dispute settler appointed as fallout of a national dialogue event aimed at resolving the current armed conflict in the country. His office comes alongside the creation of a regional assembly; a unique administrative feature to the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.
His six years mandate expires in 2027 as per law No.2019/024 of 24th December, 2019
