After being reinstated by a decision of the homologation chambers of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), Bamenda FC has clinched one of four available tickets for the semi finals of the ongoing North West Interpool.
Bamenda FC saw off Santos FC 2-0 on Saturday 14 August 2021 during the quarter finals. Loibinho Cheson scored twice to take his team to the last four of the regional playoffs.
Coach Mbitakang Simon's men will take on Rangers FC of Bafut in one of two semi final matches programmed for Thursday 18 August 2021 at the PS Ntaafi field in Bamendakwe.
The homologation committee of the regional FECAFOOT league had earlier sanctioned Joseph's Dingha's team for using a player with falsified identify. They were disqualified from the playoffs despite picking a qualification against Rainbow FC. The red devils returned after their petition at the national FA tribunal went their way.
The second semi final fixture will pit Universal Soccer against Bafmeng United.
