North West flag bearer at this year's national interpools has continued training in Bamenda ahead of the event expected to take place this September or early October in Bafoussam and Limbs.
Though with the challenge of having a good training facility, the team has been preparing on the muddy fields of GTC Nkwen, the CBC field in mile three Nkwen and the St Paul's college field.
"We are trying and for now all is going well. I trained with Foncha street that later qualified at the GTC Nkwen field. So we will try." Coach Anumewa Franklin said.
He admits to have good information of his opponents being Rizierre de Tonga and Best stars of Limbe during the competition and says he is generating the formula to solve their equations.
Coach Sama Keneth, physical fitness manager of the U23 national team has joined the Rangers FC technical staff to boost preparation.
"I did the same when Foncha street qualified to represent the region when we did well so I thought it was important to join Franklin again let's see how to prepare Rangers and give the North West a deserved representation." Sama said
The volunteer on the day of our visit to the team on training insisted on the need for the players to do what he described as "conserving in progression."
Apart from Blaise Nforche who emerged golden shoe winner during the NW interpool, Ejob Demonstra is another sensation Rangers FC will be taking to Bafoussam. The son of Bambili village though as a student has played in Russia before returning home to join Rangers FC.
The flip footed attacker missed out on the regional playoffs as he was pursuing his other career issues. He was in a class of his own during the league matches he played for Rangers FC.
