A decision published at nightfall on Wednesday 20 October 2021 has disqualified several names from the list of contestants for various positions at the regional league and federal level of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) from the North West.
Not fewer than four persons are concerned by the list which hilltopvoices got a copy published by the Barrister Achet Nagnigni led seven man commission.
The petition submitted by Tah Robert President of SIMAF was admitted for hearing by the commission.
Concerned are Dinga Joseph, Nchinda Charles, Abang Raphael ans Chi Ivo.
While the commission rules out one for revocation of membership, the others are accused for using "fraudulent letters of endorsement."
Chi Ivo's case remains unclear as his name appears on list of those ruled out and remark but the decision section in the document rather says "rejects the claims against the candidacy of Mr Chi Ivo." It should be recalled however that Chi Ivo had earlier withdrawn his candidature though no reason was cited.
All those ruled out had indicated interest to run as delegates for the FECAFOOT federal general assembly.
The candidates will have to seek other avenues to redress their situation should they continue with their ambition to contest the elections
