Demonstrators in Bamenda after the incident brandished 500F notes saying the officer shot at the vehicle for not stopping at a security check point to settle the usual 500frs bribe.
Brandy's death ignited protests from denizens who paraded her corpse and later matched to the governor's office.
Roads were blocked with tires burnt on the street same day.
Atleast four people are reported to have sustained bullet wounds in the protest as government forces again opened fire at protestors.
