The Paramount ruler of Nkwen has announced his decision to lead the Bamenda III Festival of Heritage Arts and Cultures (FEHACU) caravan. HRM Fon Azehfor III of Nkwen was speaking during a strategic meeting with all 57 quarterheads of Nkwen this Thursday 4 November 2021 in the Ntoh Nfo'o Menkwen palace inner esplanade.The Fon was meeting with the quarter leaders to ensure that Nkwen stages an unmatched presence during FEHACU.
Prescribing the expected outfit, His Majesty observed that it will be amazing to have everyone in North West traditional regalia and more meaningful if they wear old and typical Nkwen outfits.
Briefing and instruction his quarterheads, HRM Fon Azehfor III appeal with all of them to do all it takes for the preservation of their cultural heritage. He insisted on massive participation and stating that he will personally supervised all the activities and presence of all quarter heads before, during and after the festival.
The Fon used his meeting to raised other issues including education. He appealed to his quarterheads to support the Nkwen Cultural and Development Association (NCDA) scholarship scheme with just 10000frs per quarter. The Fon himself an educationist and teacher not that "educating a child is building a society.
