The Gambia has continued a remarkable run in their maiden Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) participation. Going unbeaten at the group stages ousting Tunisia and Mauritania, the scorpions have qualified for the quarter finals of the competition after beating Guinea.
The debutants' Musa Barrow got the goal for his team and country at the 71st minute to go ahead of Guinea 1-0.
Ibrahima Conte's equaliser was canceled shortly after which star man Yusupha Njie was shown a red keeping Guinea on ten men.
Ranked 150th by the world's football governing body and least in the ongoing competition, the Gambia has become a lead revelation. Historic!!!
Coach Tom Saintfiet have created history for the Gambia people.
They will either face Cameroon or Comros.
