According to Fr Ignatius Waindim, the election of the Archbishop of Bamenda as president of Episcopal Conference directly places the Archdiocese on the spot light reason why all Catholic faithful within the jurisdiction should work to ensure their leader succeed.

The Christians unanimously agreed that the Parish Priest conveys to the Archbishop a message of their support and best wishes.

Rev Fr Ignatius Waindim also used the Mass to called on member of the Catholic Men Association (CMA) to be like their patron saint Joseph the worker whose feast day was being observed. While describing Joseph as a silent worker, he encouraged the men to remain committed as they work quietly for the Church.
