A football tournament for Nkwen sons and daughters based in Cameroon's economic capital is expected to flag off this Saturday 13 August 2022. Christened the "Nkwen Royal Tournament for Reconciliation", the football tourney sponsored by the Fon of Nkwen is expected to fortify unity and living together amongst Nkwen children in Douala.

The intention to organise the competition was disclosed on Saturday 30 July 2022 during the wedding reception dinner of a Nkwen notable Mbisah Tony in Bonaberi Douala by the Second Adviser to the Fon of Nkwen Muma Azehfor III as a messenger of the Fon.

Explaining that there had been some isolated actions that might have sparked some differences amongst the Nkwen sons and daughters, Muma Azehfor on behalf of the Fon urged them to bury their differences and live together in peace and harmony.
Prior to the official kick-off this Saturday, www.hilltopvoices.com has gathered that six quarters will take part in the competition being Membuh, Mbelewa, Mbessi drawn in pool A and Bayelle, Manda, Menteh in Pool B.

The opening fixture has been announced between Membuh and Mbelewa which promises to generate uncommon fireworks.

Sources close to the Nkwen Throne suggest a possible displacement of HRH Fon Azehfor III from his Fondom for the kick-off event.
