On Saturday June 10, MTN Cameroon, a leading telecommunications company in Cameroon, visited the North West Regional Bamenda to offer gifts and technical support to persons with disabilities as part of their 21 days Yellow Care campaign.
During the visit to the Special Needs Entrepreneurship Group (SNEG) in Bamenda, MTN Cameroon representative Yvonne Akemche interacted with persons with disabilities and provided them with advice that can help fight fraud especially on mobile money services and protect their data. She announced her company's readiness to accompany the persons with disabilities achieve their full potentials through the donation of technical equipment to SNEG and a partnership to make concrete her institution's commitment.
The beneficiaries through their leadership expressed gratitude to MTN Cameroon for their kind gesture and support. They noted that the gifts and technical support would go a long way in improving their lives and making them feel more included in society.
The 21 days Yellow Care campaign is a corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at giving back to the community and supporting vulnerable groups. The campaign has been running for for a couple of days, during which MTM Cameroon has been engaged in various activities to support the communit including a fund raiser in Yaoundé that ended with over 75million FCFA raised.
MTM Cameroon reiterated its commitment to supporting vulnerable groups and promoting social inclusion.
The visit by MTN Cameroon to SNEG was a success, and it demonstrated the company's commitment to giving back to the community and supporting vulnerable groups.
