Progressive Comprehensive College (PCHS) Bamenda held a successful open door day event on Friday, showcasing the school's achievements and progress over time.
The event, attended by school administrators, state service representatives, parents, and visitors, was a platform for the school to present its successes in public exams and highlight the advancements made in its academic programs.
The highlight of the event was the presentation by the school's Principal Azeh David Mofor, who shared the positive results achieved by PCHS students in various public exams.

PCHS took the opportunity to showcase the progress made in the newly launched Industrial department, which offers specialties in Building and Construction, Electrical Power Systems, Carpentry, Motor Mechanics, Accounting and Taxation, Home Economics, Marketing, and Secretariat Administration.
Visitors were impressed by the students' demonstrations and presentations in each department, showcasing the skills and knowledge they have acquired through their studies in less than seven months of existence.

The first point of call was the electrical power system where the students amazed visitors with practical internal communication and information system between service heads. Home electrification and production of home needs like distributors caught the attention of all.
The building and construction department was fully on duty when their guest came visiting. They were either demonstrating how to build walls or special structures.
The highly equipped Motor Mechanics department was another point of attraction as the students explained with relative ease the functioning several parts proposing uncommon solutions to basic daily problems.
The accounting and taxation, then the marketing department presented diverse solutions to challenges faced in the sectors. Business management and accountability systems with computerized illustrations for hotels and transport agencies, tax payments, documentation and branding techniques had unmatched proposals.
Representatives from the regional delegation of secondary education and the Municipal council lauded the school's commitment to providing quality education to its students.
The Yong family, who are promoters of PCHS, expressed their dedication to furthering the school's mission of offering quality education to young people. Their commitment reflects a shared goal of ensuring that students receive the necessary education to secure a better future for themselves and the country as a whole.
