Reflecting on the theme of "A Press for the Planet: Journalism in the Face of Environmental Crisis," Njike Celestine Atadebe, Regional Delegate of Communication, praised the media's dedication to combating climate change disinformation. He underscores the importance of journalists' role in spreading awareness and truth, particularly in safeguarding the media landscape within evolving technological and environmental challenges.
North West Governor, Adolphe Lele Lafrique Adolphe Tchoffo Deben expressed his heartfelt congratulations to journalists for their unwavering dedication to upholding press freedom principles. Acknowledging the media's pivotal role in fostering transparency and accountability, he lauds journalists' pursuit of truth and ethical journalism as instrumental in shaping public discourse and driving positive change in society.
